His latest book, the second in a series of three, is Tiny Tim's Christmas Carol: Another Untold Miracle of Charles Dickens's Classic. As a fan of Dickens, Leonard wondered what would happen if Scrooge wasn't the only one visited by Christmas ghosts. The other characters in A Christmas Carol had a story to tell when the Spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Future visited them. Thus began the Christmas series.

He has been at the forefront of men's healing for the past 35 years and his TEDx talk on Fatherhood has been viewed over 110,000 times. He is co-authoring a book with Rick Broniec, Power Tools for Men: A Blueprint for Healthy Masculinity, out in 2023."

Leonard conducts writing critique groups and seminars, including "Writing Naked: Write with Heart and Soul" and "Write Your Book and Get it Published." He lives in Dana Point, CA where he writes, conducts seminars, and counsels clients. Since laughter and writing help him stay balanced, he enjoys putting the "fun" back into "dysfunctional." He is the proud father of 2 adult children and 3 grandchildren.
