Just in time for Halloween, Dr. Cristina LePort discusses the how-tos of writing chilling thrillers and transforming real-world knowledge into compelling fiction!
A board-certified cardiologist, thriller writer and co-founder of biotech company Genescient, Cristina explores the unsettling possibilities of preserving human life, why she decided to have her own head frozen after death, and how to use your own expertise, experiences, and fascinations to spark compelling stories, deepen conflict, and keep readers turning pages.

Bio
Dr. Cristina LePort was born in Bologna, Italy, and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Bologna School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Brooklyn and a cardiology fellowship at UCLA. She is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and co-founded the biotech company Genescient. She is also the author of the medical thrillers Dissectionand Change of Heart. She lives in Orange County, California, with her husband, surgeon Peter LePort.
